Perfect Portuguese Pairings with Duo Chefs Event Details

Wines of Portugal hosted two Perfect Portuguese Pairings with Duo Chefs Luncheons in Austin and Los Angeles to enhance “Brand Portugal” awareness and build sales potential for Wines of Portugal’s producers, as well as showcase the food friendliness and pairing ability of Portuguese wines. This program was specifically targeted towards 40 of the top trade influencers in each city. In each city, the exclusive Duo Chefs luncheons were held in hip, highly sought out restaurants and were hosted by Master Sommelier Evan Goldstein and Wines of Portugal US Ambassador Eugenio Jardim. Both luncheons were attended by key restaurant sommeliers, retail buyers, and journalists. Two chefs, one from the designated restaurant and one top Portuguese chef, created items for each course and offered two distinct views of what pairs perfectly with Portuguese wines.  A total of 13 wines were featured across a reception and a three-course meal, demonstrating the diversity and food-friendliness of Portuguese wines
