Portugal faired well at the International Wine Challenge 2014 with Portuguese wines being awarded 12 trophies in the competition.  

Campolargo White 2011 was awarded the Champion White Wine Trophy, highlighting it as the best white wine of the Challenge.  

Of his achievement, Winemaker, Carlos Campolargo, said: "I am delighted. This is the first time that this award has been given to a Portuguese white wine from Bairrada. Until now it has only been presented to fortified wines - a great testament to the wines coming out of our region."
