Perfect Portuguese Pairings with Duo Chefs

On June 2nd and June 6th, 2016, Wines of Portugal hosted two Perfect Portuguese Pairings with Duo Chefs master class luncheons at Revival Public House in Austin and Republique in Los Angeles. Portuguese Chef Telmo Faria of Uma Casa and each restaurant's Chef (Frank Johnson of Revival Public House and Walter Manzke/Eric Bost of Republique) each cooked three courses to showcase the versatility of Portuguese wines in pairing with a variety of cuisines.
These luncheons were co-hosted by Master Sommelier Evan Goldstein and Wines of Portugal's US Ambassador Eugenio Jardim who provided and overview of Portuguese wines and the featured regions, as well as discussing the food and wine pairings. Thirteen wines were featured in each city over a reception and 3-course luncheon. Both luncheons were attended by key restaurant sommeliers, retail buyers, and journalists.
