Dirceu Vianna Junior MW led a webinar about the “Still wines of Portugal”

Dirceu Vianna Junior, Master of Wine, has lead a webinar about the "Still wines of Portugal": a trip from north to south with Dirceu Vianna Junior MW, hosted by WSET, where he did a virtual tour of Portugal's still wine-producing regions, from the famous Vinho Verde in the north to the endlessly diverse reds and whites of the south.

The webinar took place on the 21st of July and you can watch the recording at WSET You Tube Channel and join Dirceu on an exploration of Portugal, looking at the main regions and grape varieties used in still wine production.

Portugal has a long history of winemaking and plays home to a whole range of fascinating native grape varieties which often fly under the radar. This comprehensive overview will give you chance to understand some of the key styles of wine from this diverse country.
