Mateus, the Portuguese iconic wine brand from Sogrape, has been considered one of the world's most admired wine brands by Drinks International, a wine magazine.With estimated sales over 1 billion worldwide, Mateus has been classified into 37th place and into 19th place in the Top European Wine Brands.

World’s Most Admired Wine Brands is a comprehensive industry poll of the world's best-regarded wine and gathered votes from more than 200 wine professionals, including Masters of Wine, consultants, journalists, retailers, buyers and analysts.

In the top 3 we find wines from old and new wine world. Torres (Spanish brand) has been voted the World's Most Admired Wine Brand for 2014, with Casillero del Diablo of Concha y Toro (Chile) finishing second and Château Latour from France in third.
